Political Drama Film George Clooney Open Venice Film Festival

Jakarta - Film actor George Clooney's 'The Ides of March' will be opening this year's Venice Film Festival. In the film, Clooney acting as a director, producer, writer and actor.

'The Ides of March' is lifted from the Broadway show 'Farragut North' which tells the story of dirty politics. This is the fourth film Clooney as a director.

Reported by NME, on Thursday (23/06/2011), before, actor born May 6, 1961 it has been a director in the film 'Confessions of a Dangerous Mind', 'Good Night and Good Luck', and 'Leatherheads'.

Other movies will be featured in the festival include 'Carnage' by director Roman Polanski, and David Cronenberg's 'A Dangerous Method'. Former Rolling Stone journalist Cameron Crowe will also attend the festival with a documentary film career 20 years the band Pearl Jam.

Venice Film Festival will take place on 31 and 10 September 2011. While the award conferment ceremony was held on September 4.
